Picture this....

Living in purpose. Making an impact.
All while being able to afford the lifestyle and freedom you desire.
Getting an office for your non-profit organization headquarters and securing tons of funding and contracts as well.

Working a full-time job while working on my vision 5-6 hours a day?
I've done that.
Not knowing where to begin or who to ask for help?
I've been there too.

Not only did I spend hundreds of hours learning what it takes to build a six figure non-profit, but I also have helped write grants that have secured millions and I want to help you do the same....

Veranda Rodgers

I’ll be honest…

I know what it’s like to be fiercly passionate about making an impact, helping others, and doing my part to change the world but simply not having the resources to make it happen.

My Life Changed

When I got pregnant at 16. I gathered the courage to tell my dad not knowing what to expect. I remember him disappointingly saying, “You’re going to just end up like the rest of your family.” I felt like the odds were stacked against me.

Those words rang in my ears… and forced me to take action because the reality was a lot of the women in my family who had children let it stop them.

I ended up being the first female in my family to graduate from college with a Masters degree in Business Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing with a minor in Psychology . I also managed to marry my high school sweetheart along the way. I realized that I was made for so much more and my situation didn’t define me. This is what ignited the fire within me to help other teenage girls that may be going through the same thing.

I walked around for two years working full-time with a notebook in my hand and a clear vision in my heart. I would research how to build a non-profit for 5-6 hours a day! Why? I knew what my higher calling was and I was committed to see it through.

I started my non-profit “Pregnant With Possibilities” because of the lack of services available when I was pregnant and unsure of my next step. The organization is dedicated to teen pregnancy prevention, restoring hope & possibilities in young women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy and preventing subsequent births to non-equipped women and teenage girls in urban communities. I believe the term “pregnancy” means that you have something inside that you need to give birth to.

Through my non-profit organization, I have been able to impact hundreds of families while bringing in over six figures into the organization. This has allowed me to walk away from my job and actually have a budget to pay myself and take care of my household. I’ve even been featured in The Cleveland Women’s Journal, Who’s Who in Black Cleveland, News Channel 3 and WZAK’s Future Black History Makers. My strong ability to write grants has resulted in over 2 million dollars of funding.

Now, I want to help other grassroots non-profit organizations and those who feel like they have the vision, but lack the know-how to generate resources and live out their calling full-time. I understand what it’s like trying to figure out research, how/where to start, branding, securing contracts & funding, and sustainability. This is why I created my proven E.X.P.A.N.D.™ System to help others with the things they need to have a non-profit that secures funding and creates impact. My commitment to my clients align with the mission to birth goals, create change and deliver excellence.

Veranda presents a high level of professionalism, while maintaining a relatable, down to earth quality that the
program participants value and identify with. Through the use of her own personal story and journey, statistical and psychological facts, and group interaction, Veranda educates participants in a strategy towards self-empowerment, personal responsibility, and future success.

I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of presenters, including many with Veranda’s level of
educational background. However, few presenters are able to connect with the students and inspire them to
embrace new concepts and believe in themselves like Mrs. Rodgers.

I feel that any company or organization will be blessed to have her level of knowledge and interpersonal skills,
as well as the life changing content of Veranda’s presentations.
